Canthoplasty & Canthopexy
Both Canthoplasty & Canthopexy are designed to enhance the shape of the eyelids, giving them a more youthful, refreshed appearance. Rather than changing your appearance, we like to work with your natural anatomy to enhance your natural appearance.
At FaceRestoration, we use Canthoplasty & Canthopexy for both cosmetic and clinical purposes. Patients suffering from lower lid ptosis or a droopy lower lid may benefit from Canthoplasty or Canthopexy, as well as patients looking to enhance their appearance with a lifted, and rejuvenated look.

What is the difference between Canthoplasty and Canthopexy?
Both treatments aim to tighten or reposition the outer corners of the eye but they use slightly different techniques. Canthopexy is a less invasive procedure that uses invisible stitches to reposition and strengthen the outer eye. Canthoplasty is slightly more involved in that it requires the muscles and tendons to be cut and shortened.
Which is better: Canthoplasty or Canthopexy?
We don’t believe that one treatment is superior to another based on the procedure alone, but what is most appropriate for your individual circumstances. Your bespoke treatment plan is created with numerous factors in mind, and during your consultation we will happily advise treatment options.
What is the purpose of Canthoplasty or Canthopexy?
The goal of canthoplasty is to enhance the form of the eyelids, toning them up and to leave them looking younger and more rejuvenated. This should be done to enhance our appearance in a natural-looking way, rather than change our appearance.
