Why Face Restoration?
FEATURES, ADVANTAGES, & BENEFITS FOR OUR PATIENTS
At our luxury London clinics, you will see two award-winning oculoplastic surgeons who will guide you through your treatment journey. For patients seeking treatment for Thyroid Eye Disease, we work with a multidisciplinary team, including endocrinologists, to get you the right treatment at the right time.
You can expect a bespoke management plan, including pre-treatment care and an aftercare package, following consultation with two leading oculoplastic surgeons.
We understand the desire for cosmetic surgery and treat you with professional confidentiality and empathy. At FaceRestoration, we pride ourselves on ethical treatments for naturally beautiful results.
How does eyelid lowering surgery work?
This surgery works by skillfully releasing the muscle responsible for raising the eyebrow. Surgery is completed through a small incision, hidden by the natural crease of the eyelid. In milder cases, it may be possible to make an internal incision to avoid any possibility of scarring.
How long is the downtime with eyelid lowering surgery?
Some mild bruising and swelling is to be expected. Most patients can resume completely normal activity after 2-3 weeks. As part of your aftercare, you will have access to both surgeons via a chat app so that you can contact them directly during your recovery.
When can I have eyelid lowering surgery?
For patients having cosmetic eyelid lowering, we can start treatment after a comprehensive consultation and assessment.
If you are living with Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) is it important to wait until your condition is stable. We will happily consult with you and your endocrinology team about the best time to start treatment.
